The CastABLE Podcast

The castABLE Podcast is a space where we come together to discuss, educate, listen and abolish ableism in the entertainment industry. Both Queen hosts are very successful in this Industry. Kumi was born with a disability. Benai was an able bodied woman for 43 years of her life until an injury she sustained, eventually led her to becoming disabled..

Ableism is real, and education, and discussion is the only way to combat that. We created a space for people to understand without prejudice or labels. With the entertainment industry being the place where imagination can become reality, we thought that this was a GREAT place to start.

If you are a disabled creative
If you are an able bodied creative.
If you have questions or want to understand
If you are the parent of a disabled creative.
We want to hear from you!!

People with ALL disabilities - visible and invisible are welcome here and will be a part of the conversation.

The CastABLE Podcast is a space where we come together to discuss, educate, listen and abolish ableism in the entertainment industry. Both Queen hosts are very successful in this Industry.
Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to us!!
In this episode we have the incomparable Tiffany Yu  @imtiffany4163
Tiffany Yu is the CEO & Founder of Diversability, an award-winning social enterprise to elevate disability pride, the Founder of the Awesome Foundation Disability Chapter, and the author of The Anti-Ableist Manifesto: Smashing Stereotypes, Forging Change, and Building a Disability-Inclusive World.
Her TED Talk, How to Help Employees with Disabilities Thrive, has over one million views. She serves on the NIH National Advisory Board on Medical Rehabilitation Research and was named to the 2025 Forbes Accessibility 100 List.
At the age of 9, Tiffany became disabled as a result of a car accident that also took the life of her father. As the Asian American daughter of immigrants, living with PTSD, and sustaining a permanent arm injury at age nine, She is well aware of the intersections of identity that affect us all. She navigated the male-dominated world of corporate finance as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs before founding Diversability, an award-winning community business run by disabled people building disability pride, power, and leadership, and creating the viral Anti-Ableism series on TikTok.
In the meantime, get my book, The Anti-Ableist Manifesto (Amazon Editors' Pick, now on its 4th printing!), in hardcover, audio, ebook, and UK paperback.
Read the excerpt in The Guardian, and leave a review so the book can reach more readers (Amazon, Amazon UK, Goodreads).
